Dr. Naziya Perveen Maldar is a dedicated Pediatric Rheumatologist and Immunologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune, autoinflammatory, and immune-mediated disorders in children.
She completed her MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad. She then pursued super specialization at India’s premier pediatric rheumatology centre—NH SRCC Children’s Hospital, Mumbai—and holds an advanced Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship supported by JIR Foundation Rheumatismes Enfants, Switzerland, where she worked with globally recognized experts.
She further strengthened her international training through the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) / Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PReS) certified course in Pediatric Rheumatology — a prestigious program recognized worldwide for advanced rheumatology education.
Her clinical focus includes Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Vasculitis, Periodic Fever Syndromes, Primary Immunodeficiencies, and Genetic Mimics of Rheumatologic Disorders. She has a special interest in inflammatory myopathies in children, an area in which she has contributed to international collaborative research.
